Terms & Conditions & Service Agreement
These terms govern your Switchin Lanez bin cleaning service. Please read the complete agreement below before enrolling. By enrolling, you agree to all of the terms in this Service Agreement.
1. The Service
Switchin Lanez (“Switchin Lanez,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides trash and recycling bin (“cart”) cleaning and power-washing services at the service address you provide. By enrolling in a membership or purchasing a one-time cleaning, you (“you,” the “customer”) enter into this Service Agreement with us.
Memberships are offered on Monthly, Bi-Weekly, and Weekly schedules. A One-Time Cleaning is also available with no membership required.
2. Pricing & Prepaid Quarterly Billing
Recurring memberships are prepaid quarterly (every 3 months). Your plan is quoted at a monthly rate for clarity, but you are billed the full quarterly amount up front. For example, a plan priced at $15 per month is billed as $45 every 3 months.
- Monthly: 1 Bin $15/mo billed $45/quarter • 2 Bins $25/mo billed $75/quarter
- Bi-Weekly: 1 Bin $20/mo billed $60/quarter • 2 Bins $30/mo billed $90/quarter
- Weekly: 1 Bin $40/mo billed $120/quarter • 2 Bins $50/mo billed $150/quarter
- One-Time Cleaning: 1 Bin $25 • 2 Bins $35 • each additional bin +$10
Full recurring-payment authorization terms are described in our Payment & Recurring Billing Disclosure.
3. Recurring Payment Authorization
By enrolling in a Switchin Lanez membership, you authorize Switchin Lanez to automatically charge your selected payment method for the applicable prepaid quarterly membership amount every three months until you cancel your membership in accordance with the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
A failed, returned, declined, disputed, or reversed payment may result in an administrative fee of up to $35 where permitted by law. Any unpaid balance remains due.
4. Service Scheduling
Service is generally scheduled for the day after your normal trash collection day whenever possible, so your cart is empty and ready to clean.
- Monthly customers choose the 1st week or the 4th week of the month.
- Bi-Weekly customers are served on their selected bi-weekly schedule.
- Weekly customers receive service every week according to their assigned route.
- One-Time customers choose the next available date after trash day or a specific date.
Service dates may be adjusted based on route scheduling. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you on your selected schedule.
5. Rescheduling & Service Interruptions
Switchin Lanez may reschedule or delay service because of circumstances including severe weather, holidays, changes to your trash-hauler's schedule, unsafe conditions, equipment malfunction or failure, road closures, inaccessible bins, and other events outside our reasonable control.
A reasonable rescheduling of service is not considered a cancellation of your membership, and your membership remains active.
6. Customer Bin & Access Responsibilities
You are responsible for making your bins reasonably accessible for service on the scheduled service date, placing them in the agreed service location, and keeping the access information you provided (including any gate codes) accurate and up to date.
By enrolling you confirm that:
- You own the bins/carts being serviced or have permission from the owner or waste provider to authorize cleaning; and
- You will provide Switchin Lanez with safe and reasonable access to the bins.
7. Pre-Existing Damage
Switchin Lanez is not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear and tear, deterioration, cracks, broken wheels, damaged lids, weakened plastic, manufacturer defects, or damage resulting from the age or existing condition of the cart. You may disclose known damage during intake so we can document the condition of your bins before service.
8. Inaccessible or Missing Bins
Switchin Lanez is not responsible when service cannot be completed because a bin has been removed by the trash hauler, is missing, or is inaccessible; because a vehicle, gate, animal, lock, obstruction, or other condition prevents safe access; or because the bin was not placed in the agreed service location.
A service that cannot be completed because access was not provided is not automatically refundable.
9. Cleaning Products & Sensitivities
You are responsible for informing Switchin Lanez of any known cleaning-product sensitivities, allergies, pet concerns, or other special concerns before service. You can share these details during intake so our crew can take reasonable precautions.
10. No Health Guarantee
Switchin Lanez provides cleaning and power-washing services intended to improve the cleanliness and condition of garbage and recycling bins. Cleaning does not guarantee the elimination of all bacteria, viruses, allergens, mold, fungi, pests, insects, odors, contaminants, pathogens, or other health risks. Our service is not sterilization and is not a guarantee against illness.
11. Photographs
You authorize Switchin Lanez employees to take before-and-after photographs of your bins when reasonably necessary for service documentation, condition documentation, quality assurance, and customer-service disputes.
Documentation photographs are not automatically authorization to use photographs for public advertising or marketing. Marketing use requires your separate, optional consent, which you may give (or decline) during enrollment.
12. Wastewater & Service Conditions
Cleaning is performed subject to applicable service-area, environmental, wastewater, property-access, and safety requirements. You agree to reasonably cooperate with service requirements. Switchin Lanez may decline or stop service where conditions are unsafe or where cleaning cannot reasonably be performed in compliance with applicable requirements.
13. Limitation of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Switchin Lanez is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage and normal deterioration;
- Customer-provided access problems;
- Waste-hauler removal or replacement of bins;
- Unsafe service conditions; and
- Conditions outside Switchin Lanez's reasonable control.
Nothing in this Agreement attempts to waive any liability that cannot legally be waived.
14. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes are resolved and includes a 30-day option to opt out of arbitration.
- You and Switchin Lanez will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally.
- Either party may bring an eligible matter in small-claims court where permitted.
- Other disputes may be resolved through individual binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules and the Federal Arbitration Act where legally enforceable.
- Arbitration must be conducted individually and not as a class or representative proceeding where permitted by law.
- Opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration provision by providing written notice to Switchin Lanez at contactus@ohiocleanbins.com within 30 days after accepting this Agreement.
- Choosing to opt out of arbitration does not cancel or affect your cleaning service.
15. Governing Law (Ohio)
This Agreement is governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another jurisdiction's law must apply.
16. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed as necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
17. Cancellation & Refunds
Membership cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement.
